Overview
The MAPLE ( Mutual Acculturation Profile & Learning Engine ) project is a cultural assessment tool and research project that helps people understand their place in a diverse/ multicultural workplace. The tool will employ image-based questions to minimize linguistic biases and to create an engaging experience. I was tasked in designing clear concepts into visuals and ensuring they were within Rotman School of Management brand guidelines. The BETA version of the assessment tool can be found here.
The Mascot
I was tasked in creating a BOT for the assessment tool inspired by Albert Einstein while using the brand guidelines of Rotman School of Management.
As seen on the left and above, here are the different iterations of Meerus. We explored options where he had colourful chest and yellow bulb head to emphasize he is a lightbulb. The Triskelion symbol was very important requirement by the clients. It symbolizes strength, independence, autonomy, and good luck. Overtime we came to the conclusion that a simple and clean is the way to go.
